Travis Skinner started playing football when he was in the seventh grade starting with the London Minor Football Association (LMFA).

He is now in Grade 10 and has made the switch to the London Jr. Mustangs in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL), where the coaching has been amazing.

Travis plays a number of positions, including but not limited to centre, right guard and tackle.

β€œMy goals for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) are to being a great group of players together and everything I have learned to make myself a better player,” said Travis. β€œI would love to be named MVP.”

During the offseason, the Mustang plays basketball and participates in camps, as well as working out in the gym.

Out on the field Travis’ role model is Rob Gronkowski because he is a team player and is very good at what he does.

β€œI love football because it is an aggressive sport,” commented the Mustang, who also plays offensive line, defensive line, tight end and fullback.

β€œI love the contact and the rush it gives me when I make contact on my oppontents,” added Travis.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
