This is Joey Allen’s second year playing the sport.

The slotback is currently the captain for the Western Patriots.

During the offseason, Joey participates in football camps, such as the Alouettes Camp in May. He also goes skiing with his family, plays hockey, jogs and plays football with his friends.

There are several things Joey would like to achieve at the upcoming Ontario Prospect Challenge.

β€œMy goals [for the Ontario Prospect Challenge] are to get in the team and to play a very good game with the other players,” said Joey. β€œTo practice and learn new things to improve my football skills.”

Joey’s favourite team is the New England Patriots. Β His role model is Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski.

β€œHe’s a hard worker, a beast on the field, he has leadership and attitude,” explained the slotback. β€œHe’s a very good and takes the pressure and I love to see him play with his team against others.”

The Patriot loves the sport because it is everything for him. When he is not playing or practicing he is throwing the ball with this dad, brother or friends.

In his free time he listens to the NFL network or plays Madden on his playstation.

β€œFootball is a big thing for me, it’s my passion!”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
