Aidan Merchant has been on the gridiron for three years now and has played as quarterback, defensive end, wide receiver, slotback, kicker, punter and free safety.

He now plays as a quarterback in the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) with the Twin Cities Predators.

During the OFC offseason, he plays with his high school team, the KCI Raiders. He also trains in the weight room and practices on the field.

Aidan’s goals for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) are, “to get better and gain experience.”

On the field, the Raider’s idol is Joe Montana because he is a great quarterback with amazing mechanics and is good at reading the defence.

The quarterback says he loves football because it is fun and a high intensity athletic sport.
