Francisco Rodriguez plays for the Gloucester South Raiders in the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) as he has for three years.

This year, the wide receiver will be trying out for the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) for the first time, as well as the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC).

ā€œI hear the coaches are great and Iā€™d like to learn a lot from my time practicing with this program and try my hardest to make it to the final game,ā€ said Francisco of OPC.

During the offseason, he works out on a regular bases and participates in other sports such as rugby, wrestling and swimming to become stronger.

The Raiders standout Ā loves the sport because the team is like a family and every year brings both new people, as well as old, with so many different emotions.

Rather than having a role model to look up to, Francisco would rather work on himself and make sure he can get as good as possible, despite there being so many amazing people in the world.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
