Andrew Wyers and Christopher Jelley kept Myers in it, but Raiders RB Kevin Victome had 6 TD’s in the win. Oliver Vailancourt and Tom Bush led the defense.
Bel Air’s Stephane Tshishimbi had a “pick six.” James Jackson had a strong game on defense in their win.
In a come-from-behind victory, Panthers Steven Viner (1), and Fabrice Mukendi(2) had TD’s. Devon Canning, Adam Kerr and Jacob Hausman were huge on defense.
MOSQUITO
Terrell Brown (3), Joel Briere (2) and Nick Sayah (1) all had TDs for the Redskins. Michael Slattery (interception) and Honoereal Iloki (fumble recovery) were defensive standouts.
The blocking of Bel Air’s Cameron Goudie and Keyshawn Palacios allowed Jonathan Mena to have a huge day rushing. Deng Malou, Jamal Boyce, and Chris Pettapiece led the defense in the shutout.
PEE WEE
TDs for Giants’ Joathan Sutherland (5), Paul Debe (1) and Nick Brunet (1) while Pat Brunet, Maroun Beano, Kyle Lance had interceptions. Brandon Lair Frank had a safety. Luiji Vilain was 6 of 7 on extra points.
Wolverine’s Carter Wilson had over 125 yards passing, 2 TDs and ran for over 75 yards. Austin Martin had over 100 yards receiving including a 25 yard TD. Two sacks for Noah Potter plus a forced fumble and recovery in the win over East Ottawa.
Bangles Jake Erskine and Caelen Lepine each ran for over 100 yards. Patrice Rene and Pascal Roy each threw TD passes to Marcus Allen.
TD’s for Kanata’s Joey McKiernan and Ashton Vanasse in their loss to Nepean.
BANTAM
In a battle of undefeated teams, Myers special teams, lead by Kevin Laporte, Bryan Gray and Ty Elliott, helped defeat the Raiders.
Redskins’ Ethan Goulet scored on 2 of 3 turnovers. Josh Voteary and Matthew Mooney each had their first TD’s of the year.
West Carleton’s Brad Herbst had 6 solo tackles, Neil Mosley (35 yard TD reception), Jeager Prot (125 yards rushing and 2 TDs) in a loss to The Generals.
Justin Ryan scored the only Bengals TD off of a blocked punt in a loss to Kanata.
Matty Wilson-Damiano, Hadi Besmar, and Tunde Adeleke each had a TD for the Raiders. Geordie Edwards, Cesare Patricelli, (blocked punt), Will Karam (sack), and Gary Lindo lead the defense.
TDs for Myers Andy Guest (2), Costa Jones, Max Chainey, Enzo Trunzo and Josh Colley. Ty Elliott and Eden Mansour had interceptions.
MIDGET
Redskins Graham Smyth had three interceptions and returned one 80 yards for a TD. RB, Kory Morgan added 2 TDs.
Kanta Knights will name their home field Robert Barr Field next Friday (14th) at 4pm before the Midget game at 7:30. Mayor Watson and Allan Hubley will be in attendance.
