OUA Recruiting Wrap: Laurier loading up on athletic specimens

FB Khalil Derman

FB Khalil Derman will be sticking around the Tri-City area with his commitment to Laurier. The versatile prospect played community ball for the Cambridge Lions, and will be looking to improve the Golden Hawks rushing attack.

LB Jessie Wilkins-Flaricee

LB Jessie Wilkins-Flaricee is ready to wreak havoc in the middle of the defence with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’1″, 250lbs battering ram spent his high school career at Brennan in Windsor.

OG Karn Sidhu

OG Karn Sidhu will be taking the next step in his football journey with the Golden Hawks. The 6’6″, 330lbs monster has been honing his skills in the CJFL with the London Beefeaters.

DB Ashton Metcalfe

DB Ashton Metcalfe will be sticking close to home with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’0″, 170lbs prospect will bring some size and quality experience to the Golden Hawks’ secondary after graduating from Clarkson Football North where he was able to play a full American schedule.

WR Glen Kodua

WR Glen Kodua is ready to show off his speed at the next level with his commitment to Laurier. The 5’10”, 150lbs shifty receiver spent his high school career at Oakville Trafalgar.

DE Joey Edlington

DE Joey Edlington is proof that is doesn’t matter where you come from on the map with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’0″, 210lbs rush end hails from Corunna where he attended Great Lakes.

WR Ryan Hughes

WR Ryan Hughes will be bringing some range to the receiving corps with his commitment to the Golden Hawks. The 6’3″, 145lbs weapon finished his high school career at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Mississauga.

DB Marco Di Nino

DB Marco Di Nino is ready to bring the hammer in the secondary with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’0″, 195lbs product spent his high school career at St. John’s in Brantford where he helped bring home the city title this past season.

WR Jade Rogers

WR Jade Rogers will be taking his talents to Waterloo with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’0″, 165lbs receiver was a playmaker at Craig Kielburger Secondary in Milton.

LB Ethan Gregorcic

LB Ethan Gregorcic has a bright future ahead with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’3″, 205lbs will be a gamechanger in the middle of the defence after proving himself at Clarington Central Secondary in Bowmanville.

DB Tucker Pinet

DB Tucker Pinet will be bringing a championship mentality to Waterloo with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’0″, 170lbs lockdown defender spent his high school career at CFC50 Holy Trinity in Courtice where he helped bring home the OFSAA Simcoe Bowl this past season.

LB Isaiah Obiorah

LB Isaiah Obiorah will become a versatile asset on the defensive side of the ball with his commitment to the Golden Hawks. The 6’2″, 200lbs Swiss Army Knife learned how to play all over the defensive depth-chart during his career with the Nepean Broncos.

DE Andre Bute

DE Andre Bute will be hoping to lift more hardware with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’4″, 245lbs lineman was a standout at CFC50 Holy Trinity in Courtice where he was a key component of their OFSAA Simcoe Bowl triumph last season.

WR Titan Gaudun

WR Titan Gaudin has decided Waterloo is the place to be with his commitment to Laurier. The 5’11”, 155lbs pocket rocket originally hails from Delta, BC where he played for CFC50 Vancouver College before completing his high school career at St. David in Waterloo.

OL Kodi Blackshaw

OL Kodi Blackshaw will be enjoying some hometown cooking with his commitment to the Golden Hawks. The 6’2″, 280lbs lineman spent his high school career at CFC50 Resurrection where he helped pave the way to a victory in the OFSAA Metro Bowl last season.

LB Isaiah Higgins

LB Isaiah Higgins could be the next superstar on campus with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’0″, 225lbs beast spent his high school career at CFC50 St. Roch where he helped secure multiple league titles and trips to the OFSAA Festival including a victory in the 2021 Metro Bowl.

RB Dominik Wilczynski

RB Dominik Wilczynski is ready to soar with his commitment to Laurier. The 5’10”, 185lbs product spent his high school career at Iroquois Ridge in Oakville.

WR Keyon Robinson

WR Keyon Robinson will be hard to miss on offence with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’5″, 175lbs tower spent his high school career at Guelph CVI.

TE Michael Weber

TE Michael Weber will bring some much needed versatility to the passing attack with his commitment to Laurier. The 6’3″, 210lbs product was discovered after a highlight reel high school career at Mother Teresa in London.
