GAME RECAP & SUMMARY BY JOHN METCALFE

Like the Varsity contest, a tale of two distinct halves!!  Ironmen led 21-9 at the halftime break as Anthony Pimental and Prosper Mbai hooked up on scoring passes of 6 and 1 yard respectively.  These book ended a 105 yard scoring strike from Pimental to Zeke Maragaritis.  Ethen Bastarache converted all three scores.  Chase Osinga opened the game scoring for the Spears on a one yard plunge with Hayden Riley adding the point after.  The Spears defence forced a conceded safety touch as well.  It was all Spears in the second half as they scored 28 unanswered points to run their season mark to 5-1.  Maksym Nazartchyk accounted for the first three scores of the second half running in from a yard and 12 yards and also hooking up with Angel Pjepi for a 14 yard reception.  Wyatt Flagg ran in from 23 yards out for the other major and Riley added the four converts.
