Varsity
The Varsity Bears played a impressive game with only one penalty all game. As expected with the Guelph Bears the defence was the story of the game once again. Stew Vandermade was a force for the bears registering; 9 solo tackles, 3 assisted tackles, 3 sacks and 1 assisted sack. Ryan Burnham also had an interception for a touchdown, running 81 yards to score.
The offense of the Bears also preformed well, the Jet offence is coming together for the Bears and they where able to sustain drives and put points up when the team needed it.

Junior Varsity
The Junior Varsity Bear has their best game of the season according to head Coach Chas Douglas, even though they did not earn the victory. “[We] played as a team for four quarters and worked [Niagara’s] butts off.”
Patrick Carnahan started the scoring for the JV Bears with a 55 yard int for a TD. Aidan Fraser had another good game with four catches for 90 yards and a TD. Ryan Finoro had nine receptions for 100 yards, allowing Job Reinhart to go 19/32 for 281 yards and two touchdowns.
The last two games against Halton and Brantford will determine if the JV Bears make it into the post season. The bears will be off the road for the final two game and will hopefully be able to regain their footing on friendly ground.
