In division 2 action, Central Kings Gators defeated the Millwood Knights, 24-2. The Gators running game was called upon play after play. This seemed to be the winning formula and they did not sway from it. Defensively, they also played very good and adapted well to Millwood’s offense. Boasting of a very athletic, young team, the Gators should have a few years of reoccurring success with 23 returning players.Β Having gone undefeated all season, the Central Kings Gators have their sites set on the provincial Division 2 high school football championship, but will have to beat theΒ Northeast Kings Education Centre (NKEC) Titans for that title. NKEC is a hard hitting team who has great coaching and will be ready to put it all out on the line. The Titans also won their semi-final game against Avon View 37-6. The two teams will battle it out for the championshipΒ on Nov. 13th at 1pm.
