In NCAA football action this week, the standout performer of the week award definitely goes to CFC40 Amen Ogbongbemiga. The linebacker had 13 solo tackles, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries in their loss to TCU, which was almost single-handedly caused by roster depletion. It was a quiet week for Canadians but a couple others like CFC100 RB Chase Brown (18 carries, 83 rushing yards) and CFC100 WR John Metchie III (4 catches, 58 yards) had solid days.

In CFB recruiting news, CFC100 offensive tackle Albert Reese IV picked up another one of his countless offers, this time from Mike Leach’s Mississippi State … Then he decided to reverse his earlier verbal commitment from Rutgers to Mississippi State. Who saw that one coming? That type of air raid will certainly season him for the passing league that the CFL is, huh? CFC100 DE Nathan Carabatsakis also picked up his second offer from Robert Morris University. A couple CFC Prospect Game Alumni grabbing more offers!

Some Canadians had solid days in the NFL in week 12 despite it being a quiet week for the Canucks, like Bengals defensive tackle Christian Covington who had 4 tackles, and Eagles linebacker Alex Singleton who got into the backfield for a TFL to go along with 5 tackles. CFC100 Chase Claypool also had another solid day with 6 catches for 52 yards.
