CFC: How has this week been for you so far?
Anthony Coombs: Pretty good week, long days, tough practices but you work through it as a team.
CFC: How was the combine for you?
AC: The combine was great experience. You get familiar with the process which is always great for the future.
CFC: What have you learned being here so far?
AC: I have learned the next level has a higher focus and intensity. Spending time with CFL coaches has been awesome.
CFC: Do you have any personal goals for Saturday?
AC: I want to take a punt return to the house. That is something everyone will remember.
CFC: How does it feel to be considered one of the best running backs in all of the CIS?
AC: It is a real honour. These are the best players in Canada. Any time you get to play against and with the best players is a real opportunity.
CFC: What do you think the future holds for you?
AC: I donβt know, I canβt really say. I need to have a good season and hope for the best.
CFC: How do you prepare for a game, mentally or physically?
AC: I like to chill, listen to music, donβt try to overthink things. Visualize making big plays and make sure you do what you set out to do.
CFC: What made you pick football?
AC: Iβm not really sure, trying out sports at a young age was my first time on the field. Football just stuck because I was faster than everyone and I had fun.
CFC: What do you enjoy most about the sport?
AC: I love to score. I love getting the ball and making the big plays too but scoring is the best.
CFC: Any predictions for tomorrowβs game?
AC: West is going to win 40-20.
