OVFL: Wildcats defeat Cumberland Panthers for first time ever
“It’s a huge win for our program”, said a happy Wildcat head coach, Kirby Camplin.
The Wildcats led the entire game. Β A long pass and catch to Alex Pilon began the scoring, one of three passing touchdowns for QB Alex Pilon on the day. Β The other two were toΒ Chris Millward (20 yards) and Pat Giroux (60 yards).
The second Wildcat TD of the game was a 60-yard ‘pick six’ byΒ Β Reeve Nicholson. Β Owen Stevens and Jesse St John both had interceptions for the defense. Β Stevens put an exclamation point on the game with a 60-yard fumble recovery touchdown.
Jayden Henry and Brandon Smith had receiving touchdowns for the Panthers.
