To maintain or enhance my conditioning, one of my exercise options is walking to ensure that I exceed 10,000 steps per day. I must admit that I have no absolute assurance that the 10,000 number is THE number or even does that much for me physically; however, it provides a security blanket.
To dull the boredom of an hour-long or longer walk, I generally listen to Podcasts, virtually always with a sports theme. If you have never heard of or watched Paul Finebaum on ESPN, you miss a real treat. Finebaum is an SEC football guru; his takes are excellent, his guests are great, and his callers a riot. While the following has nothing to do with Finebaum, I recommend looking him up.
