WOLFE: To be safe, football must be competitive

My most recent CFC opinion piece featured the Huron Heights football program, and their dominance of the York Region conference. Their dominance, I believe, was part of the reason that some opposing schools cancelled their programs, while others opponents opted to field 9 man teams. These schools, I believe, did not feel they could match up and be competitive with Huron Heights.

This was not meant to be seen as a knock on the Warriors program, quite the opposite in fact. They have excelled “in tough times”.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
