Overall, there were several reasons why the quarterback opted for the Vert et Or.

“I felt I had a great relationship with the coaching staff,” explained Jacob-Michaud of his decision.  “I also felt welcomed by players when I met them.”

“Then, there was the new entrepreneurship bilingual program with the COOP option, which interested me a lot. It allows you to understand how to start, function and close a business.  Also, Sherbrooke is a nice college community where everybody supports students and athletes.  Sherbrooke has a great football program and a great offensive system.”

This fall, Jacob-Michaud will begin his final campaign with CEGEP Division 3’s Valleyfield Noir et Or.  The team has won three consecutive Bol D’Or Championships.  In their 2014 Bol D’Or win, Jacob-Michaud was named MVP as he completed 22 passes in 28 attempts for 247 passing yards, four touchdowns and an interception.

Last season, the pivot completed 94 passes in 146 attempts for 1535 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and an interception.

Previous to the Noir et Or, Jacob-Michaud suited up for RSEQ Juvenile Division 1B team, Charles-Lemoyne Dynamics.
