#CFC10 Non-public school rankings (6): UCC, St. Mike’s make a move

UCC played great defense and went up early in the game and never relinquished that lead.  Blues QB Jay Williams found Quebec’s Juwan Edgehill early down the sideline for the opening TD of the game.  On the next drive St. Andrew’s gave up the safety after going two and out deep in their own end.  A’dre Simmons had a big run in the 2nd quarter to reduce the UCC lead to two but SAC was never able to comeback, special teams making many errors.  Rasheed Tucker ran in a TD late in the first half to put the Blues up 14-9.  UCC held on to win 15-11.

St. Michael’s College Kerry Blues had their best game of the season, defeating hosts Trinity 34-18.

Football North won the turnover battle, but lost the game 21-14 to Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls.  The defense was strong except two long pass plays that both resulted in touchdowns.  The offense mustered only nine first downs against the swarming Owls defense.

Royal Imperial once again found themselves down big at the half and lost to Ursuline with a final score of 41-12.
