After four months and four evaluation camps which saw over 400 players at the start, trimmed to 110 after a super weekend in January, the final 40 U18 players who will represent Alberta in the Football Canada Cup this summer in Nova Scotia are announced below.
These players will now reconvene in July and head for Acadia University in Wolfville, NS to compete against seven other Provincial Teams (with B.C. fielding a team for the first time since 2011 to join Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and host Nova Scotia). Alberta has won 6 National Championships at the Football Canada Cup and finished fourth overall in 2016.
