It was a special weekend for Team Orange MVPs Jackson Harnett out of Harry Ainlay, and Josh Chapelski out of Lloydminster.

Jackson Harnett – FPC BC 2020 Offensive MVP Team Orange

CFC100 quarterback Jackson Harnett repeated his MVP performance from last year at the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge. The 6’1″ 190lbs pivot lined up at multiple positions and showcased his athleticism as he helped the red team successfully move the ball when he was on the field. The Orange offence did not get much done when Harnett wasn’t on the field.

When in at quarterback, he made a couple of throws, but mostly moved the chains with his feet as he was almost unstoppable once he pulled the ball down and began to scramble. The Harry Ainlay product from Alberta will look to make a return trip in 2021 where he will attempt to 3-peat his MVP performances to date.

Josh Chapelski – FPC BC 2020 Defensive MVP Team Orange

Another out of province player, weakside linebacker Josh Chapelski, made the trek from Lloydminster Alberta where he represented his high school, Holy Rosary, well. At 6’1″ and 190lbs, he demonstrated outstanding range and explosiveness – simply put, he was all over the field, and even added in a pick-6 later on in the day.

Chapelski was on fire from the opening game all the way to the end with several big hits, a pick-6 for a touchdown which we already mentioned, multiple forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. His senior year at Rosary will be one to keep your eye on.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
