Dalton Diceman has played in the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) for nine years with the Nepean Redskins and Eagles.

Aside from the Eagles, Dalton has also spent two years with his high school team, the Mother Teresa Titans of the National Capital Secondary School Athletic Association (NCSSAA).

During the offseason, he works out at a Greco Lean and Fit Gym doing strength and conditioning training focusing on heavy lifting and cardio.

He also cross trains in box lacrosse to keep up his competitive edge, as well as work on footwork and conditioning.

At the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC), Dalton wants to achieve a couple of things.

“My goals for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) are to get better at the sport I love by being coached by talented and experienced coaches and putting my skills and talents and testing my self against the best in Ontario,” said Dalton.

As a 2017 graduate, Dalton has the #CFC100 on his list of top ten goals.

On the field, his idol is J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans because he is the best defensive player in the league.

“I strive to be the best football player I can be and if I can match half the level of skull and knowledge that J.J. Watt has, I would be the happiest player in the league,” explained the Eagles standout.

He loves football because it is the ultimate team sport and he loves the teamwork, as well as the feeling of either winning or losing as a team.

“The thrill of completion, contact and the desire to play and win are also driving factors of why I play football,” added Dalton.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
