Jacob Rohde has played in the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) with the Kanata Knights at the tyke level.

The Knight has played several positions on defense including cornerback, linebacker and defensive line, with defensive end being his favourite and best position.

Moreover, last year Jacob received the Heart Award and this year he was voted Team MVP.

During the offseason, he tries to maintain and improve his football abilities by running, practicing drills he learned during the regular season, as well as lifting weights.

The defensive end also does footwork drills on the treadmill that were given to him by his coach, as well as attending the Kanata Knight’s winter weekly training camp.

Jacob’s goals for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) are β€œto learn new and different skills and to challenge myself by elevating my game to a higher level of competition and to have fun while doing it.”

The Knights standout’s Β idol is Colin Kaepernick because he was the first football player he saw when he was younger and he became Colin’s favourite.
