Corey Griffin started his football career three years ago with the Forest City Thunderbirds of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).
Last year, he also joined the London Minor Football Association (LMFA) Cobras at the peewee level.
This summer the defensive end will continue his journey with the Thunderbirds.
Over the years he has been awarded Defensive MVP, Thunderbirds All Star, Outstanding Rockie for defense, peewee MVP and the 2015 peewee Championships.
“My goal for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) is to make the team as a defensive end,” said Corey.
During the offseason he plays basketball for his school and does regular workouts.
“I love football because it’s a team sport,” explained Corey. “I enjoy running, chasing, hitting and tackling and that’s the game of football.”
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
