Run down: CFC10 All-Canadians – Boatloads of talent!

For the second year in a row, canadafootballchat.com (CFC) are releasing two All-Canadian teams; CFC50 All-Canadians, 1st and 2nd teams, and for the first time, a CFC10 All-Canadian team.

The CFC50 1st and 2nd All-Canadians will be comprised from schools that are eligible for the CFC50 National High School ranking. These players are nominated and chosen from their 2017 season stats and updated highlight films. The final part of the evaluation comes from the nominations themselves and the evaluations of the CFC scouting bureau.

These teams, like the CFC provincial all-star teams, are not prospect lists. They are teams made up of players from all different conferences and divisions in 12 and 11-man football who had outstanding 2017 regular season performances.

The third team, the CFC10 All-Canadians, will be comprised of Canadian born players who currently attend private and/or prep schools here in Canada or south of the border. This team will not include CEGEP and/or JuCo players. Those players will be featured on the CFC60 top prospects list.

19 out these 26 athletes on the CFC10 team already have NCAA offers. This number will potentially grow as we get closer to the second NCAA signing day in February. Every single one of these athletes would easily be considered a blue chip recruit for USports.

Here is the CFC10 All-Canadians.

OFFENSE

REC CFC100 Shedler Fervius – 6’1/185, Episcopal (Va.) – Shedler jumped on the scene two years ago during his OVFL season. A nice size target, he is outstanding at high pointing and winning 50/50 balls. He also has a little bit of shake to make people miss and can turn regular plays into big plays. He is really athletic after the catch and has a natural ability to create space and work his way open. Fervius needs to continue to develop his speed if he is to reach his true potential.

The Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (FPC) is a series of elite showcase games that feature the best tackle football players from across Canada aged 12-19 years. Tournaments are played in Central Canada (ON) and the West Coast (BC).
