“Coaching is coaching at any level”, high school versus university

Former head coach, Sonny Wolfe, McGill Redmen

My experience at the high school level is restricted to 4 years; while I coached college age athletes 45 years. Not being a great mathematician, I believe that is approximately a 10 to 1 ratio in favour of the older group. I had always looked forward to coaching at a high school; that interest was piqued by the significant number of college athletes who spoke of the indelible memories and the life lessons they acquired playing at their high school. Many if not most, believed their coach played a great role in their personal development.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
