Late rally not enough for Canada Prep
Canada Prep opponent the Steubenville Big Red, which earned its 16th consecutive trip to the Ohio playoffs, built what seemed to be a comfortable 26-0 halftime lead. The Raiders, refused to go away and closed to within five (32-27) late in the game. The Raiders got its offense going in the second half, scoring two quick touchdowns. The first came on a 22-yard sprint by #CFCOPC Jean Paul Cimankinda and the second on a 70-yard Esson Hamilton to Raidan Thorne pass. The third TD was a scoop and score TD by Samuel Obiang. Cimankinda capped off the scoring late in the game with a 26 yard scamper.
Football North got back in the win column against Silver Oak Academy in Keymar, Maryland. An early Quincey Belanger from Clarke McCallum touchdown got Football North on the board. The second score was a pass and run touchdown from #CFC100 Khalil Wilson to Malcolm Miller, one of two TDs on the day for Miller. Other touchdowns were scored by Josiah McKoy, Elrick Harty Jr. and Mekhi Hyman. Defensive standouts included #CFC100 Deionte Knight and a Spencer Agard interception.
Royal Imperial Knights traveled to Cincinnati to take on the Crusaders of Archbishop Moeller. The Crusaders rolled to a comfortable 42 to 14 halftime lead, cruising to a 56 to 22 victory.
Upper Canada College goes to 6-1 with their win over the Trinity College Bears, 33-7. They will face eachother again next week for the cisAA semi-final.

St. Andrew’s College rolls to a 6-2 record after they handily beat the St. Michael College Kerry Blues 42-7. St. Mike’s now sits at 4-4 overall. Both teams will face each other again for the semi-finals next week.
