For the sixthĀ year in a row, Canadafootballchat.com (CFC) is pleased to bring you the national high school football rankings known as theĀ #CFC50.
Another week of high school football is marked by another round of upsets in three regions.
In Burlington, the Nelson Lords pulled off a big upset as the team defeated #CFC50 team Assumption Crusaders 13-7. Ā Ethan Rolle sprinted downfield for an 80 yard touchdown score while Adam Preocanin added two field goals. However, it was the Lords defence that contained the Crusaders defence to seal the victory.
Meanwhile, Markham was the site of another upset as former CFC#50 squad Bill Crothers Colts were shutout this past weekend against Newmarket Raiders 22-0. Jack McRogers led the Raiders with two touchdowns.
Under Friday Night Lights in Laval, Ā Jacques-Rousseau Sphinx overtook the lead with three minutes remaining and never looked back as they shocked CFC#50 Cure-Antoine-Labelle Wolves 23-21.

#1Ā Notre Dame Pride (CALGARY) Ā 3-0 Ā –Ā Atfer defeating Ernest Manning Griffins 42-6, the Pride will enjoy a bye this upcoming week.
#2 St. Francis Browns (CALGARY) 2-0 –Ā The Browns are back in action this Thursday against Centennial Coyotes after a week off.
#3Ā W.F. Herman Green Griffins (WINDSOR, ON) 2-0 –Ā For the second straight week, the Green Griffins earned a 44-6 victory on the road against Kennedy Clippers.Up next is the always tough Catholic Central squad under Friday Night Lights.
#4 SĆ©minaire Saint-FranƧois Blizzard (Quebec) 6-0 –Ā The Blizzard remain undefeated after crushing Roger Comtois Patriots 52-3. Ā This week, the team will put their perfect record on the line as they face #CFC50 Cure-Antoine-Labelle Wolves.
#5 St. Paul Crusaders (WINNIPEG, MB) 4-0 –Ā The Crusaders thumped the Sturgeon Height Huskies 64-7. Up next for the Crusaders are the Grant Park Pirates on Friday.
#6Ā Leboldus Golden Suns (Regina)Ā Ā 3-0 –Ā A strong passing game resulted in a 31 point second half in the Golden Suns 59-12 victory over Balfour Redmen. Ā Semba Mbasela continued his season tear as he tallied two majors and rushed for 206 yards while pivot Brayden Kuski completed 10 passes in 14 attempts for 250 yards and four passing touchdowns. Ā This week marks a pivotal match against #CFC50 top 10 rival Campbell Tartans on Friday.
#7 Ā Terry Fox Ravens (Port Coquitlam, BC) 1-0 –Ā The Ravens cruised to a 52-22 win over WJ Mouat Hawks in big part to a strong performance by JeremieĀ Kankolongo who scored two touchdowns and amassed 147 rushing yards. Under Friday Night Lights, the Ravens will host Lord Tweedsmuir.
#8 Lorne Park Spartans (Mississauga, ON) 2-0Ā –Ā Alex Lavric completed 13 passes in 19 attempts for 267 yards and four touchdowns as the Spartans coasted to 37-6 victory over St. Francis Xavier Tigers. Ā Devin Condlin tallied two majors and had 103 yards on six receptions. Ā Next up is a Thursday afternoon matinee with Meadowvale Falcons.
#9 Ā Campbell Tartans (Regina, SK) 4-0 –Ā Despite a bye this past week, the Tartans scored a 23-12 non conference win over Saskatoon Bethlehem Stars. Ā Munir Majien,Ā Isaac Sandomirsky and Avery Pierce each had a touchdown. Ā This week will be a major test as they face defending champions and #CFC50 Top 10 squad LeBoldus Golden Suns.
#10 Ā Bey Facey Falcons (Sherwood Park, AB) 4-0 – Ā The Falcons amassed their highest margin of victory in the program’s history as the team walloped Salisbury Sabres 64-7 during Rivalry Week. Ā Up next is a meeting with Bellerose Bulldogs on Thursday night.

How is the #CFC50 evaluated?
The #CFC50 is a relative ranking that considers top tier leagues (listed below) from all eight high school playing provinces (minimum one team represented from each province).Ā The CFC Scouting Bureau consists of twenty-four CFC Reporters, CFC Scouts, and also selected local reporters and scouts who submit local ranking results on a weekly basis.Ā This is the sixth year that Canadafootballchat.com has ranked the top high school teams in Canada.
Leagues included in rankings: British Columbia AAA Varsity, Alberta Tier One, Saskatchewan 12-man 4A, Manitoba AAA Varsity, Ontario OFSAA Bowl AAA qualified teams, Quebec Juvenile Division 1, New Brunswick 12-man, Nova Scotia Tier 1
Non-PublicĀ schools will be considered in their own rankings (new 2015).
