Injuries began to mount up for Clarkson who turned to third string QB Callum Wither early in the 2ndΒ quarter.Β The freshmen turned in an impressive 13-19 for 125 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.Β CFC100 receivers Nick Mardner and Clarke Barnes were the recipients of the TD passes.Β
Canada Prep lost to undefeated St. Edward Eagles (8-0), who built a 31-0 halftime lead and did not give up any points until a long touchdown run by Canada Prep.Β Senior receiver Jalen Staples caught three first-half touchdown passes. Staples, a 5-foot-10 receiver, finished with seven receptions for 82 yards. St. Edward utilized three quarterbacks: Zach Kincaid, Garrett Dzuro and Pierce Downey. The trio combined to complete 19-of-22 passes for 165 yards and the three touchdowns to Staples. Dzuro tossed two of them.
Royal Imperial played the Northeast Vikings losing 33-0.Β No press release provided.
St. Joeβs lost to Cheshire Academy this past week.Β Top performers were CFC100 Arthur Hamlin who had a 70-yard pick six touchdown and was a force on the offensive side of the ball as well.Β CFC100 Lake Korte-Moore continued his impressive season for St. Joeβs.

The #CFC10 Non-Public rankings are high schools that are not public schools and/or who do not play in Canadian public school leagues. The rankings include and consider all conference and non-conference games. Non-public teams who play in Canadian public leagues will be considered in the #CFC50 high school rankings. All players must be enrolled in the public or private school for it to be considered a school team and eligible for these rankings. Private schools must have a ministry of education identification number to be considered.
All USA scores must be approved by MaxPreps and opponents must be a VARSITY team. Competitions that MaxPreps does not consider games, like scrimmages and showcases, will not be considered. USA team rankings change as the year progresses and this will be considered and updated in these rankings. The rankings are published Tuesday mornings (unless holiday).
