- It feels like Quebec turned into the Twilight Zone this season with another week of head scratching results leading to Charles-Lemoyne falling outside the top ten. College Bourget have had a tough year sitting in the basement, but somehow they’ve managed to topple Charles-Lemoyne 31-28 to capture their second win, and keep their slim playoff hopes alive going into the final week of the regular season. For the first time in CFC50 Rankings history we don’t have a top ten team out of Quebec because we simply couldn’t justify it with how this season has played out so far. With that said, it also makes Quebec the most exciting province to watch as we race towards the playoffs with the field wide open for the taking.

CFC100 CLASS 2026 RANKINGS
- Holy Cross put together another huge statement win against St. Joseph’s after an odd scheduling quirk had them meeting twice in three weeks. The 48-35 final was a lot more convincing than the first time around, and they must be licking their chops watching Miller, Riffel and Campbell fighting for the city title in Regina. It’s been a long time since Saskatoon captured the 6A Provincial title, but the Crusaders look like they have the weapons this cycle to make it happen. We are looking forward to this week’s playoff action in Regina with Campbell taking on Riffel and LeBoldus facing off against Miller in the semifinals. Holy Cross will be taking on Centennial in semifinals action.
- It’s also playoff time in Manitoba with plenty of top ten implications in the upcoming weeks. Dakota kickoff their title defense with a first round matchup against Steinbach, while Oak Park prepare to battle Vincent Massey. While we wish everyone luck across the league, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t highly anticipating a showdown between Dakota and Oak Park in the finals, who have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 678-8 this season.
- Lastly the playoffs are underway across Alberta with Harry Ainlay rematching Ross Sheppard in the Metro Edmonton Carr Division semifinals, while Spruce Grove prepare to take on Salisbury with a spot in the city finals on the line. Across the province in Calgary, St. Francis and Ernest Manning have earned themselves a first round bye while Notre Dame look to go on a Cinderella run with their first test against All Saints in the quarterfinals. Not to be forgotten, Raymond don’t have a conference to call their own playing as an Independent, but they will be feeling an extra boost of confidence after defeating Holy Trinity Academy this past week 47-25, who are arguably one of the top five schools in Alberta despite their Tier II classification. The Comets will be heading to Idaho for another huge test as they continue their preparations for the Tier I playdowns.

CFC STAR RANKINGS DATABASE
- All eyes were on Citadel in the race for the Nova Scotia provincial title, but Charles P. Allen is now the centre of attention after dismantling the Phoenix 32-12 to improve their record to 4-0-1. They have one more regular season game this evening against Auburn Drive, and then the playoff bracket will be set. It’s going to be a heated three-way race between Charles P. Allen, Bay View and Citadel with all three programs capable of lifting the trophy if they play up to their abilities. It’s going to be a fun bracket to watch.
- The playoff pictures in Ontario are starting to develop with the top programs all taking care of business this week, except for Westmount who now find themselves stuck in a three-way battle for top seed in the Hamilton Public League after falling to Waterdown 37-27. The third wheel in this showdown is Westdale, who are the hottest team in the league ripping off four straight victories after losing their season opener to Westmount. Elsewhere in the province, Western Tech join the top 50 after completing a perfect regular season in Toronto, and we have a huge red circle marked on the calendar around the upcoming contest between Corpus Christi and Notre Dame for first place in the Halton Catholic League.

- There’s only one week of regular season action left in British Columbia, and W.J. Mouat must be feeling confident about their playoff chances after another huge 28-17 victory over Rutland. On the flip side, New Westminster have hit an icy patch at the wrong time with their second straight loss to Lord Tweedsmuir, and will be looking to get some momentum back in their season finale against Seaquam.
