- Quebec is painted orange and green for the second year in a row as Saint-Jean-Eudes retained the Bol d’Or with a 25-16 victory over Cure-Antoine-Labelle. The Condors have won three championships in the last five seasons, and they are the first DI program to go back-to-back since Saint-Francois in 2016-2017. After a .500 start to the season including two losses in a row to Cure-Antoine-Labelle and Saint-Francois left them at 2-2, Saint-Jean-Eudes rallied to win seven straight games to prove once again why they are the team to beat in La Belle Province. Do they have the horses to go for three in a row? We can’t wait to find out.
CFC100 CLASS 2026 RANKINGS
- After dropping out of the Alberta provincial playdowns at the hands of Ernest Manning a year ago, Harry Ainlay left zero room for error this time around with a 63-8 thrashing to secure their spot in the Tier I provincial finals. Waiting on the other side will be Raymond, who also had zero issues dispatching Lethbridge CI for the second time this season 37-14. Now the stage is set for a rematch of the 2022 finals where the Comets defeated the Titans to claim their first provincial banner since 2010. Harry Ainlay are searching for their first title since 2021 when they defeated St. Francis in the grand finale, and will be playing in their sixth championship in the past seven seasons with a 3-2 record heading into the contest. Let’s hope they can replicate the same drama we witnessed in their exhibition game to kickoff the season when Harry Ainlay prevailed 21-18.
- Call it a wake up call. Call it a dose of reality. It doesn’t matter how you want to phrase it, but clearly A.N. Myer took their loss in the Niagara Public championships to Churchill, and turned it into fuel for a raging fire that culminated in a definitive 39-7 victory over Notre Dame in the SOSSA semifinals. Now they need to find out if the fire is hot enough to get by Westmount, who punched their ticket to the SOSSA finals with a huge 41-2 victory over Churchill. The champion will move on to take on the winner of the GHAC finals between Bishop Tonnos and Corpus Christi in the Golden Horseshow Bowl, while the runner-up will be heading to the Southern Bowl to faceoff against the winner of the CWOSSA finals between Jacob Hespeler and Centennial.

- At last, Catholic Central can call themselves the kings of the TVRA once again after defeating Sir Frederick Banting 20-7 in the league finals. The Crusaders will be making their first appearance at the OFSAA Bowl Festival since 2018, and their first provincial banner since 2015 when they defeated St. Peter in the Western Bowl.
- Catholic Central’s opponent in the Western Bowl this time around? Well it’s looking very likely that it’s going to be W.F. Herman after the Green Griffins held on for a thrilling 15-14 victory over their rivals Holy Names in the WECSSAA finals. They now move onto the SWOSSAA finals against Northern, who emerged as the champions out of the Lambton-Kent region. It’s an exciting time for Northern, who no matter what will be making their triumphant return to the OFSAA Football Festival with their last appearance coming way back in 2011. Now the question is which bowl will they be competing for? The loser of the SWOSSAA finals will move on to play Brebeuf College in the Independent Bowl.
- Barrie North are heading to the OFSAA Football Festival for the first time in school history after defeating St. Joseph’s in the GBSSA finals. The Vikings will now try to bring home their first banner with a matchup against Paul Dwyer in the Simcoe Bowl.
- Korah have booked another road trip to OFSAA with a dominant 37-6 victory over Algonquin in the NOSSA finals. The Colts have now earned the right to take on Huron Heights in the National Capital Bowl, which promises to be a fantastic matchup featuring two of the most successful programs in OFSAA history.

- Speaking of the Nation’s Capital, we check-in with St. Joseph, who are one step away from an appearance in the Central Bowl if they can handle business against St. Mark in the city finals. The first meeting between these two went down to the wire with St. Joseph coming out on top 20-19, but the second time around it was a different story with the Jaguars running away with a 38-13 triumph. If St. Mark can recapture the success they had in the first meeting, then there’s no reason why they can’t pull off an upset. Waiting on the other side will be St. Roch, who will be brimming with confidence after defeating Paul Dwyer in the 905 Bowl two weeks ago, and following up with a massive 42-10 victory over Northern in the Metro Bowl – which is now back to being a regional bowl game for teams exclusively from the GTA instead of awarded at the OFSAA Bowl Series.
- Frontenac are one step closer to another appearance at the OFSAA Bowl Festival after defeating La Salle 27-13 in the Kingston city finals. They now need to navigate one more showdown in the EOSSAA finals in order to book their spot in the Northern Bowl against Westgate, who are the champions out of Thunder Bay.

- Have you been able to keep up? Because we’ve still got one more province to cover with the semifinals set in British Columbia. There were no shocking results in the quarterfinals with the top four programs all year easily sliding by – but now we get the two rematches we’ve really been waiting for. In one semifinal we will see the defending champions Vancouver College take on Lord Tweedsmuir, while W.J. Mouat prepares to take on South Delta in the other. If the Grey Cup was evidence of anything, expect the unexpected at BC Place this year.
